Bingo the new Chihuahua!

While vacationing in Las Vegas The first week in March I got a call from my best friend. A lady she works with had to find a new home for her 6-month old Chihuahua. Her landlord had found out about him and he needed to go. When we returned, we went to meet him and he chased Tomas (our other Chihuahua) all around the apartment like mad and was so excited. Apparently, when we went to leave with him he was standing right by me ready to go. I didn't even notice. He took to me right away. He is not even 3 lbs. and at times you cannot even tell he is on your lap. I had to get him used to a collar and leash and am trying hard to potty-train on the pads or to go outdoors. Bingo does not bark much (it's been days since he has) and is so sweet! He is socialized with people and other dogs, so that is wonderful! I hope he has a long life!

Tomas the Chihuahua

We adopted Tomas in February of 2006. Roughy a year and a half ago. He has turned out to be the best lil dog anyone could ask for. I absolutely adore him. He is a little over five lbs. and has a white stripe down his nose. He does not bark nor is he yippy, he likes other dogs, kids and adults. He is definitely one of a kind Chihuahua. It's common that when people meet him, they want a Chihuahua themself. He goes camping, fishing, boating and backpacking/hiking. He has travelled to Moab with us multiple times and once to New Mexico and across country to Birmingham, Alabama.

Oregon vacation 2007

I went to visit my good friend Tina in Oregon. I flew into Portland and we immediately headed for Seaside. After checking into the Shilo we ate at Doogers. Bummed around downtown and later headed to the bumper cars and put-put but they were closed for the night. We did do "Dance, Dance, Revolution" at the arcade and I sucked rocks (it was my first time)! The guy after me was great and even juggled while he did it. Seaside was hot and sunny. I loved it. We also hit Astoria, Oregon; Home to The Goonies! I think I will venture to Astoria in 2010 for the 25-year anniversary of the movie. Tina and I stopped and took pics at the Goon Docks. We saw some grandparents with what looked like 13 year-old granddaughters coming to take pictures as well. I love that the movie is a cult classic and still watched by the youngins.Oregon was beautiful and green as ever! Not sure that I could live there year-round, but what a beautiful state.
